The Madannapet police on Sunday sent a minor girl who was allegedly raped by her employer and two others to the Osmania Hospital for age determination tests.

When asked if any samples were taken for DNA tests, the police said it would be done after determining the girl’s age. The girl who migrated to the city some time last year had been working as a maid at the house of Narsing Rao, a 42-year-old businessman, in Reinbazar. The victim had recently given birth to a baby boy after which she went to her native place, Nalgonda. She returned to the city and lodged a police complaint. The accused are yet to arrested.
